Responsibilities

  • Forecast and generate purchase orders for necessary materials.
  • Maintain the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system accuracy.
  • Ensure all materials meet quality and specification standards.
  • Monitor production volumes and supply chain performance.
  • Implement solutions for supply chain challenges.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Produce reports to support the Purchasing and Materials Management team.

THE ROLE

As a Materials Planner, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the seamless flow of materials for manufacturing operations.

  • Forecasting and generating purchase orders to secure necessary materials.
  • Maintaining the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system for data accuracy.
  • Ensuring all materials meet strict quality and specification standards.

What are we looking for -

  • Education: Degree in Mathematics, Finance, Business Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
    • Strong time management, communication, and organisational abilities.
    • Excellent numerical and analytical skills for data‑driven decision‑making.
    • Proficiency in Material Management/Inventory ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
    • Problem‑solving mindset with a focus on results.
    • Ability to work flexibly to meet business needs.
    • Certifications: MCIPS, APICS, or equivalent qualifications (or qualified by experience)
