A local healthcare trust in Halifax is looking for a Materials Management Assistant to support stock control and ensure the availability of medical supplies. The ideal candidate will work in a team, maintain stock levels, and provide excellent customer service. A friendly attitude and the ability to work under pressure are essential for this role.
Within the CRH Materials Management team we have an opportunity for a Materials Management Assistant to help to develop and enhance the delivery of our patient focused services strategy. The post holder will work within the Materials Management team within CHS which plays a vital role in ensuring that medical and surgical consumable stock is available to all the wards and departments within the trust.
There is a requirement for manual handling and physical distribution of products. The need to work at pace whilst ensuring accuracy is critical to ensure clinical staff have the necessary medical/surgical clinical consumables to deliver healthcare. Regular interaction with staff from all wards and departments is key so a friendly and can do attitude is required at all times. A team player is essential as the daily challenges will require an individual who has is flexible in their approach to the role.
