• Hourly Rate: Days - £12.21 PAYE / £15.58 Umbrella
• Nights - £15.87 PAYE / £20.25 Umbrella
• Shifts: Monday - Friday 07:00 - 17:00 / 20:00 - 06:00
• Hours: 50 hours a week Avg.
• Duration: 18 Months minimum
• Start date: ASAP

Company Summary

In partnership with Siemens Mobility we are recruiting for a Materials Handler to be part of the materials chain for a project to overhaul the interior of a Fleet of Class 360 Rolling Stock units. Siemens Mobility are a globally recognised brand in the production, maintenance and modification of Rolling Stock. This role is based at the modern Kings Heath Depot.

Position Summary

The key duties are to ensure the delivery of material to the MFC facility. You will carry out general stores duties as directed by the Stores Team governed by the priorities and timescales of work requirements and daily workloads.

• Using the correct manual handling techniques
• Pick, pack and issue material kits to line side
• Top up line side material locations
• Ensure line side is kept neat and tidy in line with 5S principles

Personal Profile / Experience Required

• Previous experience in a fast-paced Warehouse environment
• Must be self‑motivated
• Basic PC skills, e.g.: Microsoft Word/Excel
