A logistics and supply chain company in Farnborough is seeking a Level I Material Handler to manage the flow of incoming and outgoing materials. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with HM Revenue & Customs procedures and maintain operational excellence. Responsibilities include picking and packing orders, document management, and maintaining interactions with various departments. Strong communication and ERP skills are essential. This role offers a dynamic work environment focusing on customer satisfaction.
Reporting to the Team Leader for Material Management the Level I Material Handler will work within the supply chain structure to ensure a smooth flow of incoming and outgoing material / Customer shipments.
A level I Material Handler will ensure that both imports and exports are processed in compliance with HM Revenue & Customs procedures and have a good understanding of Export compliance, customer and company procedure.
They will also ensure that the department’s targets in respect of Operational Excellence and Customer OTIF are maintained.
Generate all paperwork and labels, as well as being able to pick all Temperature, Speed and P&D products as per picking lists to ensure traceability is maintained.
Maintain the highest standards of Housekeeping.
