Job summary

Enthought, Inc. is seeking a Materials Data Scientist / Scientific Software Developer to join our client-facing solution delivery team in Cambridge.

You will pair deep materials and chemistry expertise with agentic AI coding tools to build data-driven models, AI-based decision-support tools, and analysis pipelines for R&D teams. Working agent-first, you will lead design, prototyping, and delivery of end-to-end solutions, collaborating closely with researchers and business leaders to accelerate

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end materials informatics solutions spanning data, models, and apps.
• Direct AI agents and code with domain context and constraints.
• Decompose problems into well-scoped tasks for autonomous coding.
• Collaborate with client researchers and business leaders.
• Build data-driven models, AI decision tools, and analysis pipelines.
• Develop web-based solutions with GUIs and cloud computing.
• Integrate AI-enabled capabilities including data retrieval.
• Engage in software development practices and client demos.
