Qualifications

  • Must possess an excellent command of computer applications like Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • A relevant FLT licence for moving chemicals is essential.
  • Experience with SAP is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain organizational and communication standards.
  • Financial awareness and attention to detail are fundamental.

Responsibilities

  • Process stock checks and resolve differences.
  • Maintain MRP and order placement administration.
  • Oversee stock accuracy and master data in SAP.
  • Handle Goods Issues and MRP monitoring.
  • Manage supplier invoices and goods receipting.
  • Lead inventory cycle counts for supplies and spare parts.
  • Data management for new suppliers within procurement.
  • Collaborate with suppliers for PPE and cost control.
  • Manage import/export logistics per new trade regulations.
  • Potential deputy role for Stores Supervisor.
  • Participate in projects for cost savings and efficiency.
  • Regular audits of procurement and engineering processes.

Job description

We are continually striving for excellence and long term sustainable growth, this role is pivotal to maximising the value in our business, through supporting internal stakeholders through effective and efficient financial and systems administration control of materials, via the purchasing department.

Responsibilities
  • Process stock checks and amend differences.
  • Maintain and run MRP & placement of all orders and associated administration.
  • Maintain stock accuracy & master data records in SAP.
  • Process Goods Issues and MRP Monitoring.
  • Goods receipting and dealing with supplier invoices.
  • Ownership of inventory cycle counts of stock control / inventory for supplies and spare parts.
  • Data management for new suppliers and materials within the procurement system in place.
  • Working in collaboration with suppliers for PPE requirements, including cost control management, escalating when required for financial control purposes.
  • Maintaining import/export logistics management system – in line with post‑Brexit import legislation / requirements.
  • Deputise for Stores Supervisor as and when needed, as a possible potential successor if / when opportunity arises.
  • Project team lead / member, focussing on cost saving opportunities and efficiency identification projects, resulting in operational excellence output.
  • Regular auditing of internal processes to procurement and engineering, however at times may be required to audit other areas of the business.
  • Control waste streams on site, be the principal contact for all Waste Management.
Qualifications
  • Excellent computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Relevant FLT licence, particularly relating to the transporting and movement of chemicals
  • Preferably SAP experienced
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills and accurate attention to detail
  • Financially astute and able to focus on attention to detail
  • Able to demonstrate uncompromising integrity
  • Strong team player, with the ability to work on own initiative
  • Process driven – demonstrable innovative thinking
