Job summary

PiLON, part of the United Infrastructure group, is recruiting for a reliable warehouse operative to join our store team in the UK. You will load and unload deliveries, check goods against orders, maintain stock records and ensure a clean, safe site in line with HSE requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in loading/unloading deliveries.
• Familiarity with Health and Safety procedures (HSE).
• Able to maintain accurate stock records and perform basic inventory checks.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload deliveries observing Health and Safety and Manual Handling procedures.
• Take/oversee receipt of goods and materials into the store and check for defects.
• Check delivery notes against goods received and the order placed; report discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records and paperwork; keep stock control records up to date.
• Assist with loading site vehicles and provide materials to tradespersons as needed.
• Keep the store and tools in good condition and ensure a clean, safe work area.
