Job summary

Bio-Techne Bristol is seeking a dedicated team member to join the distribution and operations team for RUO and GMP products. You will manage goods in and out, receipting, sampling materials, and ensure orders are processed and dispatched according to shipping regulations.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, ability to work in controlled environments, cross-functional collaboration, and a willingness to grow knowledge of products. On-site role with competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Process Goods In and distribution across site with accurate documentation.

• Pick, pack and dispatch orders ensuring accurate consignments.
• Maintain regulatory paperwork and electronic systems updates for RUO and GMP activities.

Position Overview

The successful candidate will form a key part of our distribution and operations team for both Research Use Only (RUO) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) products. They will be responsible for operational running of the goods in and out process without our GMP facility. This involves handling the goods in process, receipting, sampling materials, as well as working with the current operations team ensuring customer orders are processed and dispatched according to the required standards and in compliance with shipping regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• To process and be responsible for Goods In and distribution across site, QC sampling of arriving materials and strict documentation upkeep. This also includes good house keeping practices, warehouse management best practice and undertake any necessary upkeep and cleaning responsibilities.
• Work in controlled manufacturing environments, including cleanrooms, using the appropriate personal protective equipment and strict adherence to GMP guidelines.
• Pick and pack orders for dispatch ensuring accuracy of consignments
• Ensure that all packages are prepared in accordance with the regulatory guidelines for transportation and that all dispatch paperwork is accurately presented with the goods.
• Undertake RUO and GMP weighing activities ensuring high quality standards are maintained and all product documentation or electronic systems are accurately updated.

• Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures and safe chemical handling
• Knowledge of weighing/packing procedures, including operation of digital balances
