A sustainable recycling company in Birmingham is looking for a Material Process Development Engineer with strong mineral processing experience. The candidate will be responsible for characterising materials, designing test work, and developing process flow sheets. A degree in mineral processing and relevant industrial experience are required. This position plays a critical part in driving process innovation for sustainability.

As demand for sustainable high quality recycled materials grows, we are looking for a Material Process Development Engineer with strong mineral processing experience to join our Central Engineering Team, based in Birmingham, UK. This team leads the development of processes for the separation of complex metal rich mixed material streams to produce a range of different metals, plastics and other materials. We operate at large scale, handling 10 million tonnes a year across our international operations and deploy a range of physical separation techniques largely adapted from the minerals industry.
You\'ll be joining a business with a strong industrial heritage and a forward-thinking mindset-investing in new technologies, prioritising safety, and continually improving operations. In this role, you\'ll play a critical part in that transformation, working closely with regional and site leaders to drive improvements in separation efficiency, material quality and profitability.

You're an experienced mineral processing engineer with an inquisitive mind who likes investigating and solving process challenges and enjoys the satisfaction of seeing the process that you developed delivering improvements in profitability.
