Overview

BE Power Equipment is a leading manufacturer of pressure washers, air compressors, generators and water pumps serving industrial markets in over 30 countries. Headquartered in Abbotsford, BC, our third generation, family-owned business is focused on designing quality products and delivering exceptional service. We are a forward-thinking, innovative company with a new facility located in London Ontario.

As a Material Handler at BE Power Equipment, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of materials in and out of our warehouse. Your main duties will include receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming materials, picking and packing orders, and preparing them for shipment. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and organizing the warehouse to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities
  • Unload, access and classify return freight
  • Receive, inspect, and putaway incoming materials using forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Pick, pack, and ship orders accurately and efficiently using RF guns within a WMS
  • Loading outbound shipments onto carrier trucks
  • Maintain accurate inventory records
  • Organize warehouse to optimize space utilization
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Material Handler in a similar role.
  • Previous use and familiarity of RF guns and warehouse management systems is an asset
  • Experience required with various shipping systems (Puro, Loomis, Day & Ross, customer specific shipping portals etc)
  • Must have 3+ years of forklift and material handling experience.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and operate material handling equipment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Good communication skills in the English language (both written & verbal).
  • You are legally able to work in Canada & have reliable transportation to and from work.
