Job description

PE Global is recruiting Material Handlers on behalf of a leading organisation within the pharmaceutical and healthcare sector. These roles are based on-site in Swindon, UK, working 40.25 hours per week on a 2 days / 2 nights / 4 off shift rotation (07:00-19:00 / 19:00-07:00). The position offers an hourly rate of £13.90 and is available to start ASAP on an initial 3-month contract, with the potential for extension and eventual permanent hire. This is a fully on-site position with no home working options.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver materials to manufacturing and packaging lines according to production schedules.
  • Remove and store or dispose of excess packaging materials.
  • Pick up, transfer, and shrink-wrap pallets of finished products.
  • Accurately complete documentation for all material movements.
  • Maintain compliance with cGMP, GDP, MHRA regulations, and internal SOPs.
  • Keep workspaces clean, organised, and ready for audits.
  • Follow manual handling and safety procedures.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Report any hazards, deviations, or non-conformances.
  • Work collaboratively with key internal departments to support operational flow.
Requirements
  • Experience in a GMP-regulated warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (JDE desirable), MS Office, and inventory processes.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
