Job summary

A leading technology company in the UK is looking for a dedicated Stock Controller to manage inventory accuracy and stock handling. The role involves collecting picks from stores, aligning deliveries, and assisting Inventory Control. The ideal candidate will have experience in stock-controlled environments, be proficient in Microsoft Office, and ideally have experience with ERP solutions like Microsoft Dynamics 365. A forklift driving license is a plus but not necessary.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of inventory management techniques.
  • Good knowledge and use of MS Office.

Job description

Schedule: Weekends

Responsibilities
  • Collecting picks from stores to deliver to the correct working area within the assigned department.
  • Aligning delivery of picks with the timings provided by the Kitting Coordinator.
  • Ensuring that all tooling is always controlled, both physically and systematically.
  • Reporting any tooling damage to the Kitting Coordinator to enable replacement or repair.
  • Working with Inventory Control to ensure stock kept within the department is accurate at all times.
  • Assisting with end‑of‑year archiving in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Accurately moving stock between locations, both electronically and physically.
  • Ensuring all finished work orders are passed to stores and RAF'd.
  • Aiding Inventory Control with locations for put‑away work.
  • Consuming parts into work orders as per instructions from the department kitting coordinator.
  • Following UIIL specialist guidelines to maintain UIIL compliance.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience working in a stock‑controlled environment.
  • Good knowledge and use of MS Office.
  • Experience with an ERP solution, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Knowledge of inventory management techniques and stock‑handling methods.
  • Forklift driving license is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong teamwork orientation and a desire to strive for excellence.
