Job summary

Halliburton in Aberdeen is seeking an entry-level Warehouse Operative to support materials movement, storage and inventory accuracy in a busy operations environment.

You will follow daily procedures, use handheld scanners, and operate lift trucks; candidates should have a high school diploma and be prepared for training and potential team leadership on small projects. This role is based at Howemoss Crescent, Aberdeen.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; two year degree preferred.
• Four years of related experience in material handling or a two year degree plus 2 years related experience required.
• Experience in an operations environment is preferred, including knowledge and use of handheld scanners and lift truck certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely materials movements and accurate storage of products.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and perform daily operations tasks.
• May train and lead small teams as needed.
• Perform other duties as directed by management.

Job Duties

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Under broad direction, duties include ensuring timely materials good movements, accurate and appropriate storage and movement of products, inventory accuracy and other daily operations functions of the warehouse which includes various clean-up and housekeeping activities.
• May be responsible for training and leading small teams. High school diploma required; two year degree preferred.
• Four years of related experience in material handling or a two year degree plus 2 years related experience required.
• Experience working in an operations environment is preferred, including knowledge and use of handheld scanners and lift truck certification.
• Job will also require the performance of other duties and activities as directed.
