Job description

We're looking for a proactive Materials & Distribution Officer to join our client based in Penicuik. This is a hands‑on role where you'll support stock control, distribution, and dispatch processes, ensuring compliance with GMP/GDP standards and warehouse Health & Safety requirements.

£25,000 - £27,000 (DOE)

Monday-Friday, Dayshift, 37.5 hours per week

What you'll do:

• Manage stock movement - booking, distributing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Support warehouse tasks such as stock checks, replenishment, and disposal.
• Uphold GMP/GDP standards and Health & Safety requirements.
• Work independently while collaborating effectively within the wider team.

What we're looking for:

• Familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Knowledge of warehouse Health & Safety best practice.
• A positive, can‑do attitude with the ability to handle both varied and routine tasks.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Previous warehouse or GMP/GDP experience desirable.
