Job summary

Staffline is recruiting a Material Control Operator for our Wrexham site to support production with safe and efficient handling of materials through the packaging and chilling processes.

You'll work 4 on 4 off, 6am–6pm or 6pm–6am, with day and night shifts and overtime opportunities. The role requires attention to GMP, safety and teamwork, plus basic reading/writing skills and collaboration with inventory and production teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in material handling, especially with liquid transfers, sauce processing, and chilling systems.
• Basic reading and writing communication skills.
• Strong commitment to GMP and safety in the work area.

Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient handling of materials throughout the production process.
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe work environment in line with Health & Safety & area GMP +90%.
• Coordinating with inventory teams to ensure all materials are properly tracked and available for production.
• Monitoring and recording all Critical Control Points (CCP) during the materials transfer and chilling processes.
• Assisting other operators in material control areas when needed to ensure no delays in production.
• Keeping work areas clean and organized throughout the day, ensuring a "clean as you go" approach.
