Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is seeking an experienced Mastic Installer to join our client's construction team on an ongoing basis in Shaftesbury. You will apply sealants and mastics to joints and movement joints across commercial and residential projects to achieve a clean, watertight finish.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to work from drawings, and a reliable, punctual approach. CSCS may be desirable depending on site, and full PPE is provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Mastic Installer/Mastic Man.
• Knowledge of silicone and sealant applications.
• Experience working on construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Applying silicone, sealants and mastic to joints, gaps and movement joints.
• Sealing around windows, doors, frames, bathrooms and other construction areas.
• Preparing surfaces before application.
• Ensuring clean, straight and professional finishes.
• Removing and replacing existing sealant where required.
• Working from drawings and site instructions.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship.
• Following site health & safety requirements.
• Keeping work areas clean and tidy.
