Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle faults accurately and efficiently.
  • Complete all work in line with manufacturer and dealership standards.
  • Support colleagues with technical advice and mentoring when required.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay current with new technology and repair methods.

Strong technical and diagnostic skills across a range of vehicle systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education

Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualification (or equivalent)

Job description

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Master Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within a Main Dealer located in Manchester.

Duties
  • Diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle faults accurately and efficiently.
  • Complete all work in line with manufacturer and dealership standards.
  • Support colleagues with technical advice and mentoring when required.

  • Participate in ongoing training to stay current with new technology and repair methods.
Requirements
  • Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualification (or equivalent).
  • Franchise Diagnostic or Master Technician accreditation.
  • Strong technical and diagnostic skills across a range of vehicle systems.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The salary of this Master Vehicle Technician role is up to £42,000 basic and an OTE of £46,600.

Hours of work in this role are: 40 hours per week, with uncapped bonus and a 3-month guaranteed bonus upon joining. A flexible 4-day working week (subject to discussion at interview) is also available at select locations.
