Listers Group Limited’s Omoda Solihull dealership is hiring a Master Vehicle Technician. You will diagnose faults, carry out repairs and service vehicles to the highest standards, under the guidance of the Service Manager.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and a full UK driving licence, with a Monday–Friday pattern and Saturdays on a rota basis. Competitive pay reflects experience and bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Master Technician with diagnostic or master technician level experience in a franchised dealer environment.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and a full UK driving licence are required.
• Experience in diagnosing complex faults and performing repairs to high standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and repairs to high standards for customer vehicles.
• Coach, mentor and provide diagnostic support to other technicians.
• Assist the Service Manager and ensure work safety and regulatory compliance.

Wehavea fantastic opportunity for a Master Vehicle Technician to join ourOmoda Dealership inSolihull. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm , as well as working Saturdays on a rota basis.

Our Master Technician will play an integral role within our service team by consistently providing first class diagnostics and repairs, taking the very best care of our customers vehicles from start to finish.

Our well-equipped and modern facilities provide a professional environment for our staff whilst delivering a seamless service to our customers. We also offer outstanding development opportunities, with ongoing training provided to help you reach your full potential. You will coach, mentor and provide diagnostic and technical assistance to other technicians to speed fault diagnosis and accurately specify repair solution.

As a Master Vehicle Technician, you will act as our specialist in the repair, whilst detecting and diagnosing any additional faults for further repair ensuring all work is completed safely and to the customers’ complete satisfaction.Your role will include, assisting the Service Manager, accurately and skilfully undertaking the repairs and servicing of vehicles, ensuring all work is completed safely and complies with retailer, manufacturer, industry guidelines & completed to the highest standards.

About you

• Highly trained Master or Diagnostic Technician with heaps of industry experience
• We are welcoming applications from experienced Vehicle Technicians trained to diagnostic or master technician levels, within a franchised dealer environment. If you have knowledge of the Omoda brand that would be fantastic but not essential
• You may be a Mechanic, Vehicle Technician, MOT Tester, HGV Technician or Auto Technician who is looking for progression.
• Whether you work at an independent garage, fast fit centre, car supermarket or main dealer, we would still be interested in talking to you.
• As a minimum you will hold or working towards completion of your NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Full UK Driving licence
