Job summary

Eaton Corporation in the United Kingdom seeks a seasoned Materials/Operations/Supply Chain leader to own and drive the Master Production Schedule (MPS) across the plant. You will ensure material availability, optimise lean flows, and manage all plant logistics, warehousing, and outbound shipments to meet customer due dates.

The role requires 5+ years in Materials/Operations/Supply Chain in manufacturing, with 3+ years in people management, and a Bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum five (5) years' combined experience in Materials, Operations and/or Supply Chain Management within a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum three (3) years of manager of people experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Master Production Schedule (MPS) and drive material availability and on‑time execution.
• Own short‑term production scheduling aligned with SIOP.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting and material movement control.
• Oversee movement, storage, and distribution of materials within the facility; manage site logistics and warehouse operations.
• Deploy lean material‑flow strategies to optimise efficiency and reduce waste.
• Escalate material‑availability risks to COE and Network teams to protect schedule adherence.
• Champion continuous improvement using MMA, OPA, visual management, standard work and value‑stream mapping.
