Job description
Overview

Responsibilities
  • Design, optimise and apply analytical methods for ecotoxicological, e-fate, physchem and residue studies; detect, quantify and characterise small molecular species in complex matrices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and manage every part of the analytical method plan, from sample preparation to final report.
  • Research the latest technologies and practices with a view to implementing these in the workplace and evolving the company’s working practices and services.
Qualifications
  • BSc/MChem/PhD in Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry or related subject.
  • Knowledge of LC-MS method development, specifically using LC-MS for quantitation or structural characterisation studies to analyse complex matrices.
  • Understanding of industry regulations such as GLP, GMP or ISO and knowledge of Sciex and/or ThermoFisher mass spec technology will be a distinct advantage.
