Job Title: Masking Operator

Location: Glasgow

Salary: Up to £15.24phr +10% shift allowance

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

We are working with a client who provides advanced high‑precision manufacturing services from a centre of excellence in the UK. They have an exciting opportunity for a Masking Operator to join their team in Glasgow.

Previous experience is not necessary as full training will be provided. The successful candidate will receive comprehensive in‑house training in all aspects of masking for painting and anodising. Full competency may take up to one year to achieve, requiring dedication and patience throughout the training process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce components in line with delivery requirements against agreed schedules and cost
  • Complete job cards with all relevant details of processes carried out
  • Clean and maintain work areas
  • Report equipment faults to maintenance staff
  • Record and maintain work‑related data
  • Pack goods with protective materials
  • Support team members as part of team development and/or induction
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities
  • Contribute to plans and forecasts within the work area

What's in it for you?
  • Full‑time, permanent contract working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Once fully trained, you’ll move onto a three‑shift rotation (early, back, and night shifts)
