The Methodist Church in Britain is seeking a permanent, full-time social worker for the MASH within BCP Council's Children’s First Response. The role focuses on triaging, assessing and passing referrals, embedding a systemic approach and safeguarding children, while keeping their voices central to every case.

You must be registered with Social Work England, have ASYE completed, and bring at least two years of frontline safeguarding experience in the statutory sector. Hybrid working is supported.

Qualifications

• ASYE completion required.
• Registered social worker with Social Work England.
• At least 2 years front-line safeguarding experience.
• Significant post-qualifying experience with children and families in the statutory sector.
• Right to work in the UK.
• DBS check at appropriate level.

Responsabilités

• Triage, assess and transfer referrals to the most appropriate team or service.
• Work with children and families so every child receives the right support at the right time.
• Safeguard children from potential harm.
• Embed the systemic approach to practice as a core ethos within the team.
• Keep children’s voices at the heart of casework.
• Work alongside multi-agency professionals at Poole Police Station and from home at times.
