Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking a Markets Treasury Manager in London to lead resource planning for balance sheet, capital, liquidity, and leverage. The role acts as a bridge between Corporate Treasury and Markets, coordinating with EMEA desks and the Advanced Treasury Analytics team to optimize financial resources.

You will collaborate with technology and quant teams to deliver on our data agenda while driving profitable outcomes and managing regulatory considerations.

Qualifications

• Solid related industry experience in Trading or Treasury roles.
• Experience with derivative pricing, life cycle, XVA pricing, and CSA documentation.
• Understanding of Basel III RWA, GSIB, liquidity, leverage and regulatory margins.

Responsibilities

• Be a subject matter expert on financial resource topics and their impact on the business.
• Develop relationships with trading desks to anticipate needs and drivers of resource consumption.
• Partner with trading desks to optimize use of financial resources.
• Analyze profitability of trading desks using metrics like ROE, liquidity, and regulatory indicators.
• Understand effects of proposed regulatory changes and coordinate Advocacy.
• Assess competitive landscape and binding resource constraints for peers.
• Explain fund transfer pricing between TCIO and LOB desks.
• Provide treasury guidance on infrastructure services affecting resources (clearing, collateral, liquidity).
• Develop new tools and analytics with Advanced Treasury Analytics.

Join a dynamic team, newly formed Markets Treasury function, where your expertise will shape the future of our business.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on the EMEA Markets Treasury team, where you will take a leading role managing the business's financial resources such as balance sheet, capital, liquidity, and leverage.

As Markets Treasury Manager, you will function as an intermediary between Corporate Treasury (TCIO) and the Markets business to properly incentivize client and trading activity while ensuring the optimal use of financial resources. You will work closely with EMEA trading desks and various stakeholders across the firm to deliver on business results. You will also work closely with our Advanced Treasury Analytics team, technology, and quant teams to deliver on our data agenda.

Job Responsibilities

• Be a subject matter expert on financial resource topics and the impacts to the business.
• Develop close relationships with trading desks to anticipate business needs and understand drivers of financial resource consumption.
• Partner with trading desks to optimize the use of financial resources.
• Analyze profitability of trading desks across different metrics (i.e. return on equity, liquidity, GSIB, etc).
• Understand the effects of proposed regulatory changes to the business and work with internal partners on advocacy efforts.
• Understand the competitive landscape across the EMEA region and binding financial resource constraints for other peer banks.
• Understand the fund transfer pricing between TCIO and LOB trading desks.
• Provide treasury guidance on financial infrastructure services/products which have a strong financial resource impact, such as clearing, collateral management, and liquidity management.
• Help develop new tools and analytics in partnership with the Advanced Treasury Analytics team.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

• Solid related industry experience. Past roles in Trading, Financial Resource Management, or Line of Business (LOB) Treasury roles.
• Working experience with derivative pricing, life cycle, XVA pricing, CSA documentation, and optimization (capital/liquidity).
• Strong knowledge in the pricing and risk management of other financial products including financing and cash transactions.
• Understanding of financial resource topics including US implementations of Basel III RWA, GSIB, liquidity (LCR/internal stress models), leverage, and regulatory/clearing house initial margin.
• Proven experience working with large amounts data and analyzing output to identify trends.
• Experience working with technology and quantitative research teams to deliver on strategic data projects.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) with ability to interact comfortably with senior stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

• Bachelor's degree and/or masters in a quantitative field.
• Knowledge of Python, SQL, Tableau, AWS, Databricks, and AI tools strongly preferred.
