Job summary

Bloomberg is seeking a Senior Editor for Markets Magazine in London. You will commission and edit distinctive finance stories, shaping how Bloomberg's market insights reach our digital subscribers between issues.

You'll guide ambitious reporters, recruit contributors, and collaborate with graphics, audience and video teams to grow Markets Magazine's presence across Bloomberg's channels. This role reports to the editor of Markets Magazine and requires a deep understanding of markets and strong

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in financial journalism.
• Ability to translate complex finance into clear, engaging prose.
• Experience commissioning and editing enterprise journalism.
• Fluency with newsletters, charts and short-form video.
• Experience collaborating with newsroom and platform teams.
• Familiarity with Bloomberg's ecosystem is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop new ways to deliver market analysis to Bloomberg's digital subscribers weekly.
• Write/edit a weekly email for Bloomberg subscribers.
• Commission, edit and write essays, profiles for Bloomberg Weekend.
• Recruit contributors and coach reporters to broaden audience.
• Collaborate with graphics, audience and video teams to expand Markets Magazine.
