About the role
As part of the digital team the Marketplace Account Manager will play a critical role in driving our global marketplace presence via Amazon Vendor, third‑party sellers and owned seller accounts. At Muc-Off we are maturing our marketplace strategy to better control how we show up where people choose to shop online. This is an ideal role for someone with great project management skills, exceptional technical know‑how and vast experience in relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow first‑party accounts with Amazon Vendor including all annual vendor negotiations, regular reporting and ongoing optimisation.
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue targets, leveraging performance data to optimise listings and conversion.
- Manage seven‑figure Amazon paid media accounts across both 3P sellers and directly with Amazon Vendor.
- Launch new products with 3P sellers and Amazon Vendor, negotiating strong commercial outcomes for the brand.
- Drive content excellence, collaborating with Brand Marketing to deliver best‑in‑class A+, PDP, and Brand Store content while maintaining brand standards.
- Support inventory planning and forecasting, coordinating with Supply Chain and Warehouse to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Day‑to‑day account management including catalogue management, product and regional compliance, asset correctness and support correctness.
- Management of promotional activities, forecasting and cost‑benefit analysis.
- Support account launches into new territories globally, along with migrations from 1P to 3P.
- Maximise profitability through organic traffic growth and regular pricing reviews.
- Maintain marketplace brand excellence including policing non‑compliant sellers and rogue content.
What we’re looking for
An experienced Amazon / Marketplace leader with extensive experience as a senior account manager with Amazon Vendor. Additional seller marketplace experience including Amazon Seller and TikTok would be ideal, along with strong set‑up and optimising experience. Deep knowledge of digital marketing data within a marketplace environment and the ability to optimise based on insight.
Must‑haves
- Degree level educated.
- Strategic knowledge of digital marketing and funnel analysis.
- Hands‑on experience managing and optimising Amazon advertising campaigns.
- Hands‑on experience generating and analysing marketplace reports.
- A good understanding of Vendor support and dealing with Amazon.
- Good knowledge of the seller landscape and 3P vs 1P models.
- Evidence of building and nurturing strong relationships.
- Excellent KPI reporting skills (think CVR, ROAS, ACOS).
- First‑hand knowledge of seller marketplaces including TikTok Shop.
- Knowledge of seller integrations with Shopify and drop shipping.
- Knowledge of Direct to Consumer via owned websites.
- Price and catalogue negotiation experience.
- Experience with product compliance management.
