Job summary

An environmental organization in the UK is seeking a Marketing Officer to help implement impactful marketing strategies. This role is for a proactive professional with experience in digital and offline marketing and brand management. Overview

We are looking for a Marketing Officer who will aid in the delivery of impactful marketing strategies and campaigns that will raise the profile and promote the work of the Trust.

We are looking for a Marketing Officer who is proactive, data driven and creative. We want you to feel confident to try new marketing ideas and expand our reach to different audiences. This is a role for someone who wants to flex their knowledge, learn new strategies and have a big impact.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a creative and impact‑driven team. You will work collaboratively across the Trust, covering fundraising, conservation, campaigns, events, Nature Discovery Centres and more.

Responsibilities

The postholder will have experience in a similar role and be confident sharing new ideas and keeping on top of industry trends. This role will involve digital and offline marketing activities, and the postholder must be able to show evidence within these areas, alongside previous experience in brand management.

It is essential that the postholder has demonstrable experience as outlined in the Person Specification within this job pack.

Benefits and Working Conditions

This role is a fixed‑term position for 1 year, working 30 hours per week (4 days per week), with a salary of £20,879.04 (FTE £26,098.80).

This role has a hybrid‑working arrangement, where the role is flexibly based at Abbotts Hall in Great Wigborough, but with the option to work from Nature Discovery Centres across Essex and from home.

The role will require a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Annual leave entitlement starts at 26 days per annum, increasing annually to 29 days plus Bank Holidays. We provide company sick pay increasing with length of service, an employee assistance programme, a combined 8% contribution pension scheme, staff social days, branded uniform, colleague nomination scheme and discounts in our Nature Discovery Centres.
