A leading plant-based beverage company is seeking a Marketing Manager to develop and implement innovative marketing strategies. This role involves managing a brand manager and working with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of brand management experience in FMCG, preferably in food or beverage, and strong communication skills. The position is based in Richmond, requiring 3 days a week in the office with potential international travel.
The Marketing Manager at Califia Farms is an exciting, diverse and autonomous role reporting directly to the General Manager, Europe. We require a creative and enthusiastic individual who is happy doing everything from launching new products, to building customer presentations, reporting on our monthly retailer performance or posting on our social channels. No two days are the same. Having a small team there is a requirement for the Marketing Manager to often pitch in and help on other areas of the business from time to time! As such you need to be a team player – working collaboratively with a cross functional team in the UK and the US. The ideal candidate will have management experience.
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for the development and delivery of all Califia’s marketing in the UK, with sole responsibility for our customer and consumer communications. The role will also be integral in supporting the team with category insight and analysis working in conjunction with a category consultant. The role will have one line report.
This is a varied marketing and category role which incorporates the full 360 marketing mix with a focus on supporting the wider business in achieving its ambitious growth targets for FY24.
You will have at least 5 years of brand management experience, ideally within the food or beverage industry, in a role with line report management. Any FMCG experience would be advantageous – ideally you will have worked for a challenger brand / medium size business that operates in both OOH and retail. Comfortable using Epos / Circana and Kantar data. Ideally you will have experience in stakeholder management.
