Job summary

Konker in Manchester is seeking a Marketing Manager to own marketing, business development, bids and content for a 14‑month maternity cover contract starting in November 2026. Hybrid working is available and you will work with senior stakeholders.

You will manage a Marketing Coordinator, drive day‑to‑day marketing across branding, proposals, CRM, website and social channels, and contribute to new business opportunities within the built environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading marketing in architecture, property, construction, or built environment.
• Proven ability to manage bids, tenders and proposals.
• Strong content and copywriting skills.
• Experience with CRM and multi-channel campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering marketing and business development activity
• Managing and mentoring the Marketing Coordinator
• Coordinating bids, tenders and proposals from start to finish
• Managing website, social media, email and wider content activity
• Producing brochures, presentations and marketing collateral
• Supporting PR, awards, events and industry activity
• Managing CRM activity and supporting client engagement
• Working closely with senior stakeholders on wider business development opportunities
