Job description
Overview

This is a brilliant opportunity for a Marketing Manager or Growth Marketer to take full ownership of a purpose-led brand’s B2B marketing strategy. You’ll think Win-win, bring a growth mindset, and be a pacesetter. You’ll be joining a business that’s on a mission to change lives through industry-leading apprenticeships, with a 3x growth plan over the next 4 years. Although their business is apprenticeships, their approach is very much like a SaaS business, so if you’re looking to break out of SaaS and into a high growth business with real purpose, this could be the opportunity for you.

You’ll create, manage and optimise campaigns that drive awareness, credibility and growth – all while working with a passionate, collaborative team.

This role is exclusive to ADLIB. Any speculative CVs from other recruiters will be forwarded to us for consideration.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll lead all B2B marketing activity, crafting campaigns that speak directly to business audiences and decision-makers. You’ll develop vertical-specific messaging, build proof-of-value content, and create case studies and testimonials that support sales and retention.

You’ll manage email marketing programmes that generate leads and nurture prospects. You’ll keep the website fresh and functional using WordPress, support SEO strategy, and ensure compliance. You’ll also raise brand awareness through PR, events and external communications.

You’ll be the go-to for marketing insight across the business, aligning closely with sales through CRM and Salesforce reporting. You’ll own data, reporting and optimisation, making decisions based on performance and ensuring GDPR compliance.

As the business grows, you’ll define and build a marketing team. Until then, you’ll be hands-on – designing assets in Canva, updating web content, and leading strategic discussions with senior stakeholders. You’ll collaborate across teams, bringing your marketing vision to life and making sure marketing is embedded in everything the business does.

What experience you’ll need to apply
  • Proven B2B marketing experience, ideally in a generalist role with a focus on growth.
  • Experience creating vertical-specific messaging and campaigns.
  • Strong track record in developing case studies and proof-of-value content.
  • Solid understanding of GDPR, CMA and project management.
  • Hands-on experience with the likes of (can be similar tools):WordPress, Canva, email marketing platforms and Salesforce.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive, growth-minded approach.
  • Confident communicator, calm under pressure and highly organised.
What you’ll get in return for your experience
  • You’ll be joining a business with a clear purpose and a strong culture.
  • Expect a competitive salary up to £50k depending on experience + benefits
  • Flexible working (remote-first but it would be great if you’re local enough to spend some time cross-collaborating in-person with the wider team)
  • The chance to shape a marketing function from the ground up.
  • You’ll be part of a team that values autonomy, collaboration and continuous development – and you’ll be doing work that genuinely makes a difference.
