Job description

Description

WTW attracts high-caliber individuals from around the globe. Join our Marketing team and look forward to:

  • Diverse and inspiring colleagues and approachable leaders
  • Stimulating work in a fast-paced, intellectually challenging environment
  • Direct interaction with senior management and latitude for individual responsibility
  • A culture of integrity, partnership and high performance

The role of Marketing in WTW is to support the company's growth and revenue goals and to protect and promote a consistent global brand. As trusted business advisors, the marketing group functions as an integrated global team providing comprehensive support to all business segments and regions through well planned and executed marketing campaigns. Our marketers bring business acumen and relevant experience to core marketing strategy and execution, project management, communication and team building. We are the core of the OneWTW mindset.

This is a hands-on, developmental Marketing Manager role supporting Global Affinity. Reporting to the Affinity Marketing Lead, the role holder will work closely with the Marketing Coordinator and colleagues across the regional marketing network. They will help translate business priorities into practical, measurable marketing activity across selected growth industries and growth regions.

The successful candidate will be proactive, dependable and comfortable engaging stakeholders. They will take ownership of agreed workstreams, communicate progress clearly, use sound judgement about when to act independently and when to elevate and build trust through consistent delivery.

The role offers scope to broaden strategic and commercial marketing capability over time within clearly defined responsibilities.

The Role

Marketing planning and stakeholder support:

  • Work with the Affinity Marketing Lead, business stakeholders and marketing colleagues to turn agreed growth priorities into clear marketing plans and deliverables.
  • Act as a confident day-to-day contact for allocated stakeholders, preparing well for discussions, asking constructive questions and maintaining clear follow-up actions.
  • Build understanding of the Affinity business, its priority sectors and market and the balance between global, regional and market-specific activity.
  • Provide practical marketing recommendations within the agreed strategy, escalating material changes, risks or competing priorities to the Affinity Marketing Lead.

Campaigns, brand and delivery

  • Coordinate and deliver integrated campaigns that support brand awareness, client engagement and pipeline development across selected industry and growth areas, which may include Crypto, Automotive, Financial Institutions and GB Affinity.
  • Support the development of external-facing narratives, thought leadership, articles and social content, particularly for LinkedIn and other third-party channels.
  • Maintain and improve relevant English-language Affinity webpages, coordinating content updates and applying SEO and GEO good practice.
  • Agree practical measures of success, monitor campaign performance and use results to recommend improvements
  • Work closely with Compliance to ensure marketing and customer-facing communications are accurate, clear and appropriate, follow established review and approval processes and meet relevant regulatory requirements and Consumer Duty principles.

Sales enablement and customer marketing

  • Coordinate the development of global value proposition materials and reusable marketing assets.
  • Work with subject-matter experts, creative teams and the Marketing Coordinator to deliver accurate, on-brand materials to agreed deadlines.
  • Support selected end-customer and distribution-channel marketing activity aligned to agreed growth priorities, where required.

Collaboration and delivery

  • Work in close partnership with the Marketing Coordinator, agreeing roles, timelines and hand-offs so work is delivered efficiently without duplication.
  • Build constructive working relationships with regional marketing teams and relevant centres of excellence to coordinate activity and identify opportunities to leverage marketing globally.
  • Support other marketing projects across GB Retail business, where required, including activity focused on SMEs, as business priorities evolve.
  • Manage multiple projects, suppliers and approvals with strong attention to detail, transparent status reporting and disciplined budget tracking.
  • Ensure activity supports the WTW brand, conduct standards and governance requirements

Other:

  • Support the overall operational governance and decision making processes for Willis Towers Watson, and demonstrate the values.
  • Any other duties commensurate with the role or level of responsibility
  • London-based
Principal Accountabilities
  • Conduct Risk: To put the interests of clients and the integrity of the market at the heart of the way you do business

What you'll bring

  • Experience using digital analytics to evaluate campaign performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Proactive and dependable, with the confidence to take ownership of work, identify what needs to happen next and follow through on commitments.

  • Strong team player with good people skills, able to build collaborative relationships and support colleagues effectively.
