Job Purpose

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role for a commercially minded Marketing Manager who loves getting involved, making things happen, and seeing the impact of their work. The Marketing Manager is responsible for delivering and developing marketing activities that support our growth ambitions, brand visibility, and strategic goals across the UK and Ireland. You’ll lead campaigns that generate leads, build relationships with target sectors, and showcase the brilliant work happening across OCS. You’ll work closely with colleagues across sales, content, digital, communications, and operations to create integrated activities that support business outcomes.

This role suits someone who thrives on variety and pace — from content planning and campaign execution to thought leadership, brand positioning, and sales enablement. You’ll be just as comfortable briefing creative as you are reviewing performance data. If you care about great marketing, meaningful stories, and helping a respected brand grow its reputation, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Planning and delivery: Develop and deliver sector-specific marketing plans that support business priorities and pipeline opportunities.
  • Planning and delivery: Manage multi-channel campaigns from concept through to execution and evaluation.
  • Planning and delivery: Work closely with sales, digital, content and bid teams to align marketing with lead generation goals.
  • Planning and delivery: Coordinate internal and external marketing projects across content, design, PR and events.
  • Planning and delivery: Maintain a marketing activity calendar and ensure deadlines and deliverables are met.
  • Campaign and content management: Lead on campaign creation, including messaging, assets, timelines and targeting.
  • Campaign and content management: Brief and oversee content creation (e.g. blogs, articles, social posts, brochures, sales collateral).
  • Campaign and content management: Helping to ensure our brand voice and tone are consistent and aligned to OCS guidelines.
  • Campaign and content management: Manage internal storytelling projects and thought leadership pieces in collaboration with the content team.
  • Campaign and content management: Work with the digital team to optimise content for SEO, conversion and engagement.
  • Sales and business development support: Support sales enablement with well-crafted messaging, tailored content and collateral.
  • Sales and business development support: Align marketing activity with target sectors, prospect lists and live bid themes.
  • Sales and business development support: Manage the development of pitch-ready materials, including case studies, service sheets and campaign packs.
  • Sales and business development support: Track marketing impact on lead quality and conversion, working alongside Salesforce-integrated teams.
  • Brand, PR and events: Help maintain and grow brand visibility across owned, earned and shared channels.
  • Brand, PR and events: Support with media opportunities, public relations, industry partnerships and sponsorships.
  • Brand, PR and events: Lead planning and delivery of internal and external events (physical and digital).
  • Brand, PR and events: Ensure OCS’s presence is well-represented at industry forums, roundtables, or customer conferences.
  • Insight and measurement: Ability to use data and feedback to assess campaign performance and suggest targeted improvements.
  • Insight and measurement: Track engagement, conversion, and marketing attribution metrics to inform decision-making.
  • Insight and measurement: Produce regular reports and performance summaries and share findings with key stakeholders.
  • Insight and measurement: Stay up-to-date with trends, competitor activity, and audience expectations.
Skills and Experience

This role requires a proactive, well-organised, and creative marketer with a track record of delivering campaigns and marketing activities that drive real results.

You will have:

  • Experience in a marketing role with proven campaign delivery and content planning.
  • Strong understanding of B2B marketing principles, customer journeys and sales alignment.
  • Excellent copywriting, briefing and project management skills.
  • Experience managing campaigns across multiple channels — web, social, email, events and print.

  • Capable of managing multiple projects with strong attention to detail.
  • A collaborative mindset and experience working across sales, content, design and digital teams.
  • A passion for purposeful marketing and a genuine interest in telling real stories about people, customers and services.
