Job description

You will manage all student-focused (B2C) marketing activity, working to grow revenue, enrolments, and learner engagement. You will oversee the coordination of multi-channel campaigns and product launches, ensuring the team has the clarity, support, and direction they need to deliver campaigns effectively. You will work closely with the Director of Marketing to translate strategic priorities into the implementation of the marketing strategy across a wide range of channels. This will include helping shape campaign direction, contributing insights during planning cycles, and keeping delivery aligned with wider business goals. This role manages a small team of two people, working closely with product, training, web, and design teams. It's ideal for someone who enjoys balancing creativity with structure, managing multiple priorities, and supporting the team to deliver.

What You’ll Be Doing – Campaign and BAU Marketing Delivery
  • Shape the direction of B2C campaigns working with the Director of Marketing to translate strategy into outline implementation in quarterly and yearly plans
  • Ensure BAU marketing runs smoothly, including email, content, SEO activity and paid media including PPC.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Delivery Executive, who leads the delivery of launches, product updates, campaigns and events.
SEO & GEO
  • Own B2C SEO/GEO plans, ensuring continuous improvements in organic traffic, rankings, and visibility, working with an agency.
  • Coordinate SEO/GEO activities such as content optimisation, internal linking, and on‑page improvements. As well as off‑page back links and content syndication.
  • Work with training content and web teams to implement best practices across key pages and new content.
Paid Media
  • Oversee paid digital activity to deliver across relevant channels, including Google, LinkedIn, Meta and programmatic, ensuring campaigns support revenue and student growth targets.
  • Work with the Marketing Executive and external agency to plan, review and optimise paid campaigns.
Content Strategy & Influencer Strategy
  • Lead and develop the B2C content strategy across blogs, articles, thought leadership, email content, and website updates working with the Social Media Manager to implement through social channels.
  • Position Security Blue Team as a trusted leader in cybersecurity training through compelling and relevant content.
  • Build and manage influencer relationships and coordinate influencer activity that supports student acquisition and brand visibility with relevant training content.
Email Marketing
  • Develop the email marketing programme for students, including newsletters, promotions, product updates, and nurture sequences.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Executive who leads the delivery to optimise, develop workflows, and campaign performance to ensure email activity supports revenue and engagement.
Performance, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
  • Track campaign performance across all channels, identifying risks, issues, or opportunities early and continually optimise.
  • Provide monthly updates on results, insights, and recommendations.
  • Use data to inform plans and improve the consistency and quality of delivery.
Strong B2C Marketing Experience
  • Strong B2C marketing experience, ideally in e-learning, education, technology, or similar industries.
  • Experience managing multi-channel campaigns, including email, content, influencers, SEO, and paid media.
  • Experience of paid media channels, GA4 and performance optimisation.
  • Experience in team management or leading small delivery teams.
  • Good understanding of SEO/GEO principles and website optimisation.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across product, content, web, and design functions.
Nice-to-Haves
  • Familiarity with Mailchimp, Jira, Trello and other email marketing tools such as CMS.
  • Experience working in a scale-up or fast-paced delivery environment.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity or online learning markets.
  • Experience working with influencers or creator partnerships.
