Marketing Manager - 6648
Location: Gloucestershire, with occasional travel to other UK sites
Contract: Permanent, Monday to Friday (with occasional weekends), 9 to 5
Salary: £40,000 per annum
This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and commercially minded Marketing Manager to lead the delivery of event marketing across a varied portfolio. You'll work at the centre of marketing and partnerships activity, ensuring all creative, promotional, and experiential work is delivered to an exceptional standard.
You'll be a confident communicator and proactive problem solver who thrives in fast-paced environments, bringing together teams, agencies, and clients to deliver engaging, ROI-driven campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver marketing strategies for events and venues that drive engagement and revenue growth.
 - Support partner campaigns, ensuring all contractual and creative requirements are met.
 - Manage influencer collaborations and social media initiatives to strengthen visibility and engagement.
 - Deliver fully integrated campaigns across digital, print, radio, and on-site channels.
 - Plan and manage activations across a busy calendar of events, overseeing everything from initial concept to post-event review.
 - Manage and develop a team of three, supporting their professional growth and ensuring smooth coordination across projects.
 - Liaise with agencies and suppliers to deliver high-quality campaigns and content.
 - Oversee photography, videography, and creative output to ensure brand consistency and measurable impact.
 - Coordinate the design and production of marketing materials including signage, menus, and displays.
 - Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
 - Simplify and refine internal processes to improve creative consistency and efficiency.
 - Manage marketing budgets, ensuring value for money and accurate reporting.
 - Track performance metrics, assess ROI, and provide actionable post-event insights.
 - Collaborate with data and insights teams to inform campaign development and audience engagement strategies.
 - Support and develop junior team members, encouraging a collaborative and innovative working culture.
 
Key Skills and Experience
- Proven experience managing marketing projects within a fast-paced environment (events, hospitality, retail, or similar).
 - Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
 - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting to stakeholders.
 - Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) and Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.
 - Experience managing agencies, suppliers, and production partners.
 - Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a small team.
 - Flexible, proactive, and able to work occasional evenings or weekends when required.
 - Full UK driving licence and access to a car.
