The role

This exciting, new role at South Hampstead High School offers an exceptional opportunity for a creative, strategic and digitally minded marketing professional to make a meaningful impact in one of London’s leading independent girls’ schools.

Working closely with the Head of Marketing, you will contribute to and deliver a dynamic, insight-driven marketing and communications strategy designed to elevate the school’s profile, strengthen admissions, and champion the achievements and character of our vibrant school community.

You will play a central role in delivering multi-channel marketing activity with a particular focus on digital, social and video, bringing the life and values of our school to audiences in fresh and compelling ways. You will manage and optimise the school’s digital presence, lead paid and organic social campaigns, support SEO and website performance, and create engaging content that inspires prospective families and deepens engagement with our wider community.

Alongside digital leadership, you will support the development of complementary marketing activity, including high-quality events, literature and brand-building initiatives, ensuring consistent messaging and a premium user experience across all touchpoints.

About you

You are an experienced digital marketing professional with a proven track record in building brand visibility, driving audience engagement and delivering measurable results across multi‑channel campaigns. You combine creative spark with a strategic mindset, and you thrive on crafting content and campaigns that resonate, inspire and convert.

You bring expertise in:

  • Strategic digital marketing, content planning, and brand storytelling
  • Social media strategy and community growth
  • Paid social, PPC and SEO optimisation
  • Website management and UX improvement
  • Photo/video editing using Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) and/or Canva
  • Data analytics, reporting and performance tracking (GA4, social tools)

You are collaborative, organised and results‑driven, with excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills. You enjoy working across a busy environment, leading processes and encouraging creativity in others. Experience in education is welcome but not required; what matters most is your marketing expertise, proactive approach and enthusiasm for showcasing a community where girls can excel.
