A leading illustrated publishing company in the UK is seeking a marketing professional to lead marketing campaigns. You will create strategies for well-known author brands and manage communications while collaborating with various teams. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in book publishing marketing and a commercially focused approach. DK is looking for a creative and ambitious marketing professional to join the Sourcebooks UK team.
Reporting into the Sourcebooks UK Campaigns Director, you will be responsible for creating and delivering high impact marketing campaigns across the entire list working closely with the Digital Marketing Executive. You will have proven book publishing marketing experience and will thrive in a fast-paced environment.
You will have a commercially focused approach prioritising sales-generating activity and will have a track record of delivering marketing initiatives with measurable impact. You will ensure activity supports commercial priorities and delivers strong ROI. You will have excellent knowledge and capability in key marketing tactics, tools, and best practices. You will keep abreast of and share updates on new trends and technologies, developing skills through self-learning, training and application. You will have excellent market knowledge and awareness of the latest trends.
You will be responsible for planning and executing campaigns for brand authors, exciting debuts and established series as well as delivering ongoing measurable results across the backlist.
The successful candidate will be a pro‑active team player who is passionate about matching dynamic books with their audience.
