Queensland Bakery is a growing and ambitious bakery business, producing high-quality products for a range of healthcare, travel, leisure and education businesses across the UK and further afield. We are looking for a hands‑on, proactive Marketing Manager to join our team in Andover. This new role is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys variety in their work, and can make things happen by taking ownership of projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

As Marketing Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day delivery of marketing activities, ensuring campaigns are executed effectively and deliver measurable impact. Core areas of responsibility include :

Email Marketing

  • Manage and deliver regular segmented customer and prospect email campaigns
  • Monitor and report on performance metrics, making refinements for optimisation

Event Management

  • Plan, organise, and deliver company and industry events.
  • Manage event logistics, liaise with suppliers, and ensure strong brand representation.

Content Creation

  • Write and develop engaging content including customer case studies, articles, and website copy.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to source stories and create content that supports sales and brand building.

Asset & Collateral Management

  • Oversee the stock of marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, and samples
  • Brief external designers and agencies, review artwork, and manage the production of new collateral
  • Work with the NPD team to get new product samples and information to implement product launch campaigns
  • Video / photography; organise product shoots and video content to support marketing campaigns

General Marketing Support

  • Management of the company LinkedIn page, creating content and posting regularly
  • Support wider brand-building initiatives
  • Contribute creative ideas to drive awareness and growth
  • Compile market sector insights & trends to inform NPD planning
  • Provide updates and insights to senior management
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a generalist marketing role
  • Hands‑on experience managing email marketing campaigns, including reporting and analysis
  • Confident in the use of Mailchimp, Hubspot, Canva, Adobe
  • Strong writing and communication skills for content creation
  • Experience of managing LinkedIn company pages
  • Confidence in briefing and managing external agencies e.g. designers, printers
  • Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong project management skills – able to juggle multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines
  • Proactive, self‑motivated, and comfortable taking ownership of projects

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience within food manufacturing / B2B product marketing
  • Experience in event planning and management
  • Experience working with sales teams to align marketing collateral with commercial needs and with NPD teams on product launches, samples etc
