Marketing Executive – £25,000–£28,000 per annum

Middleton, Greater Manchester

Full-time – 37.5 hours per week

Mantra Learning is the UK’s leading logistics learning and development provider. With over 56 years of experience and an Ofsted Grade 2 rating, we support thousands of people each year to gain new skills and secure employment in the logistics sector.

We operate through two key brands: The Job Gym and The National Logistics Academy. Our training offer includes 400 Apprenticeships, 2,500 Large Goods Vehicle licences, and 1,100 Forklift Truck licences each year. Our partners include Aldi, Wincanton and AO.

As the largest specialist logistics training facility in the UK, we are now looking for a Marketing Executive to join our team and help us continue to grow.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Creating engaging copy for websites, emails, blogs, newsletters and social media
• Writing internal and external communications across a range of channels
• Developing and delivering SEO strategies to improve rankings and website performance
• Updating and maintaining website content in line with SEO best practice
• Providing proofreading support across the organisation
• Using data to understand user behaviour and measure campaign effectiveness
• Researching search trends and creating content to match demand
• Producing content aligned with our brand tone and identity
• Applying insights from customer journeys and buyer personas to drive content
• Pitching ideas and contributing to content planning with internal stakeholders
• Creating content for websites, video, social media and more to support lead generation
• Supporting paid social campaigns and helping improve return on investment
• Contributing to the wider organic performance strategy

What We’re Looking For

• Degree-level qualification or relevant Apprenticeship in Marketing or similar
• GCSEs A–C or equivalent in Maths and English, plus ICT Level 3 qualification
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel
• Some knowledge of HTML, CSS and Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. Photoshop)
• Understanding of digital systems and willingness to explore new tools
• Portfolio showing examples of previous marketing content and campaigns
• At least 12 months of relevant experience and a passion for content and branding
