You will collaborate with marketing agencies and conduct international travel once per quarter. Position: Marketing Executive

Location: Suffolk (international travel once a quarter required)

Salary: c£35k depending on experience

Overview

My client is a world leader in its field and they are poised for growth within the next year. To ensure they meet their sales goals, they are actively seeking an experienced Marketing Executive. You will work alongside their marketing agency and will travel, internationally (approximately) once per quarter for a few days.

Accountability and Responsibilities
Campaign Coordination

Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, email, and print.

Content Support

Coordinate the creation and distribution of marketing content and materials, including website content, social media posts, email newsletters, brochures, and presentations, ensuring brand consistency.

Social Media Management

Support the management of the company's social media presence, including scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and tracking performance.

Email Marketing

Assist in the development and deployment of email marketing campaigns, including list segmentation, content creation, and performance analysis.

Website Updates

Coordinate updates to the company website content, ensuring accuracy and alignment with marketing objectives.

Market Research

Conduct basic market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.

Event Support

Assist in the planning and execution of marketing events, webinars, and trade shows.

Administrative Tasks

Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including managing budgets, processing invoices, scheduling meetings, and maintaining marketing calendars.

Reporting and Analysis

Assist in tracking and reporting on marketing campaign performance, providing insights for future optimisation.

Vendor Management

Liaise with external vendors and agencies as needed, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.

Brand Compliance

Ensure all marketing activities adhere to brand guidelines and legal regulations.

Cross-functional Collaboration

Work collaboratively with other departments, such as sales and product development.

Key Skills and Attributes
  • Proven experience (typically 3-5 years) in a marketing support role.
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with digital marketing channels and tools, including social media platforms, email marketing software (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot), and website content management systems (Wordpress).
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and best practices.
  • Creative thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
