Coulter Elite Resourcing are hiring a hands‑on Email Marketing Executive. This role is a key part of our revenue‑driving CRM team. You'll write copy, design visuals (images and layouts), and build the emails that power our customer communications. You'll be the in‑house guardian of email best practices, ensuring campaigns are on‑brand, current, compliant, accessible, and high‑performing. You'll start with email and, over time, help us expand into wider CRM channels (SMS, push, in‑app).
What you'll do
- Create end‑to‑end emails: write, design (including images/graphics), and build responsive, mobile‑first campaigns; test to ensure they're optimised for each client and device.
- Deliver high‑quality emails: produce conversion‑focused campaigns with fast turnaround, scaled seamlessly across devices and channels, and delivered to tight deadlines.
- Own best practice: stay on deliverability, accessibility, design/coding standards, and compliance (GDPR, CAP) - and apply them.
- Set up and send: build in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, support segmentation, dynamic content, QA, and deployment.
- Test and optimise: plan copy/design/subject‑line tests; analyse performance; iterate to improve opens, CTR, and conversion.
- Collaborate: partner with marketing and product teams to keep messaging on‑brand; contribute to templates and the design framework.
- Report and recommend: deliver clear performance reports with insights, actions, and testing ideas.
You'll bring
- 2+ years' experience creating, designing, and building email campaigns.
- HTML/CSS skills for responsive email coding and cross-client rendering.
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or similar ESP).
- Strong copywriting skills and a passion for concise, engaging, customer‑focused content that drives action, with an understanding of behavioural triggers.
- Understanding of personalisation, dynamic content, and segmentation.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive, self‑starting approach.
- Working knowledge of email regulations, data protection, and advertising codes.
- Experience collating and presenting engagement reports.
- Familiarity with basic image editing tools (e.g., Figma, Photoshop) to refine assets.
