Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a senior marketing distribution professional to support sales teams across London and EMEA. The role focuses on maximizing marketing and promotion opportunities for linear broadcast clients and SVOD licensing, managing events, and coordinating assets and approvals across stakeholders.

The candidate will collaborate with product owners and NBCU marketing teams to enhance materials and client experiences while ensuring accurate representation of our films and TV programming.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record within a major Studio marketing environment.
  • Production and/or Creative Services experience with technical knowledge to support marketing workflows.
  • Technical competence with broadcast materials and terminologies.
  • Proven ability to handle demanding tasks within tight deadlines.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint; experience with rights management.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with marketing clients across EMEA; prepare presentations, coordinate meetings, update action plans and reports for sales executives.
  • Ensure licensees present films/series appropriately across media; advise on guidelines; coordinate approvals with internal stakeholders; provide technical client support.
  • Research and track key programme launches within EMEA for the linear marketing team.
  • Oversee high-profile events and ensure NBCUniversal stakeholders are represented properly across channels and divisions.
  • Gather assets for products in the pipeline; profile programmes in sales materials for post-sale distribution.
  • Collaborate with NBCU marketing teams cross-divisionally to maximize opportunities and work with external peers on events.

Job Description

Responsibilities

This role supports the efforts of the sales team in London and field offices across EMEA. The main part of the remit is to maximise marketing & promotion opportunities of linear broadcast clients and SVOD partners licensing our film and TV product. Management of the company presence at events including markets, festivals and screenings, both in-person and virtual is an important part of the role.

Qualifications/Requirements

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • A significant part of the role involves acting as liaison to marketing clients in key territories across EMEA. This includes:
    • Preparing presentation materials, coordinating meetings, and updating action plans and reports for the sales executives
    • Ensuring that licensees are presenting our films and series in the appropriate way in all media and advise them on the relevant guidelines, as well as coordinating approvals with internal stakeholders and providing technical support to clients as required.
    • Researching and tracking details of key programme launches within EMEA on behalf of the linear marketing team.
  • Managing high profile events. The candidate must have managerial experience overseeing company presence for a major Studio. While sitting in the Global TV Distribution group, this role must ensure all stakeholders across the company are represented in the appropriate way, these include channels, TV production, format sales, etc.
  • Working with product owners to gather assets for all product in the pipeline to ensure that programmes are profiled in sales materials and distributed to our customer base post-sale.
  • Collaborating with NBCU marketing teams cross-divisionally to maximise opportunities benefiting the business as a whole.
  • Collaborating with external industry peers in arranging joint client-facing events
  • Finding & implementing solutions which support team effectiveness both internally and with clients
Qualifications

Business Experience / Skills Requirement

  • Proven track record within a major Studio marketing environment with considerable experience at Manager level or higher.
  • Production and/or Creative Services experience with technical knowledge necessary to support workflows of marketing/ distribution.
  • Technical competence with broadcast materials and terminologies.
  • Proven ability to handle a range of demanding tasks within tight deadlines.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point and experience with rights management.
  • Proficiency in European language viewed favourably, especially French.
  • A proactive self-starter able to work independently.
