Job description

Angling Direct is seeking a highly commercial and driven individual to join our in-house Marketing Team for a 9-month maternity cover until 30th September 2026. We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator who is creative, proactive, and able to implement ideas and projects, reporting on their success. You will report directly to the Head of Marketing and work closely with an established team of designers, videographers, and web developers, implementing complex strategies and campaigns.

The Role
  • Support the Marketing Manager and ecommerce teams in developing and implementing brand strategy across digital platforms
  • Implement marketing and advertising campaigns by assembling and analysing sales forecasts; preparing marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives; planning and organising presentations and updating calendars
  • Develop and drive digital content strategy, ensuring content is compelling and fully integrated across multiple channels – online and in-store
  • Increase brand relevance to consumers across social media, manage social channels, and create media strategically to support digital objectives
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of annual UK and EU Marketing plans, focusing on digital channels
  • Initiate targeted supplier campaigns to elevate brand partnerships and maximise available brand assets
  • Support management and maintenance of all social media channels and manage community interaction
  • Assist in the creation of digital campaigns, strategy, and drive improvements
  • Coordinate monthly department reports, including tracking marketing performance and activities and creating monthly presentations
  • Coordinate detailed ongoing analysis of marketing / supplier campaigns to ensure targets are met
  • Support quarterly reports such as customer surveys and NPS survey
  • Ensure all budgetary spend, supplier agreements, and payments are processed within company guidelines and ensure legal & regulatory compliance of all marketing initiatives / creative work

  • Knowledge of Asana, Mailchimp, Survey Monkey, and Hootsuite
  • Able to work flexibly, handle change, and work as part of a team
  • Able to accurately produce and analyse reports and documentation
  • Possession of and ability to use initiative
