A local government authority in the United Kingdom seeks a dedicated team member for the Pupil Access Team. The ideal candidate will oversee team operations and provide guidance on educational policies. This part-time role requires a commitment to improving the educational access of young people. Salary ranges from £32,061 to £36,363 annually, depending on experience.
Salary £32,061 - £36,363 Per annum | Permanent, Part Time, 18.5 hours per week | Pro Rata
The Pupil Access Team is responsible for the development and delivery of statutory services to enable pupils to fully access educational opportunities by ensuring that each child has a mainstream school place, achieves successful re‑integration following any exclusion procedures and is provided with home to school transport and free school meals where appropriate.
We wish to appoint an enthusiastic, experienced and dedicated team member to join our knowledgeable and committed team. The successful candidate will oversee the work of the team whilst also being able to offer technical advice to support colleagues, head teachers, parents and other agencies regarding policies and procedural guidance relating to Pupil Access work. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that the team complies with all the statutory regulations and published timetables in respect of co‑ordinated admission arrangements and meet the timescales in respect of in‑year admissions.
