A local charity organization in Hull seeks a Communications & Marketing Officer to enhance stakeholder engagement through strategic communications. The role involves planning, content creation, and audience segmentation to maximize impact. Ideal candidates are proactive and skilled communicators, who are eager to learn and grow within a supportive team culture. Offering a flexible work environment and 25 days holiday plus public holidays.
Hours: 28 hours per week
Location: The Strand, 75 Beverley Road, Hull.
Contract: Fixed term until 31st March 2027
Salary: £30,000 FTE
We are seeking a talented and proactive Communications & Marketing Officer to join our team and help us tell our story, showcase our impact, and engage our diverse stakeholders.
You will play a pivotal role in planning and executing strategic communications across a variety of channels. This role is essential for ensuring our impact is seen, our volunteers are celebrated, and awareness of our services are improved. In this dynamic role, you will initiate, write, edit, coordinate, and publish engaging content across multiple channels, from the website and social media to print and online marketing materials. A core part of your responsibility will be to understand the segmentation of our audiences, tailoring communications and marketing efforts to maximise engagement and progressively improve our understanding of what works.
The post holder will not only have the technical ability to develop and use necessary web and publication tools but will also be willing to learn new systems and cascade understanding to the wider group.
