A leading new automotive brand in the UK is seeking a Marketing and Communications Manager to shape its market presence. You will develop strategies for brand awareness and customer acquisition while overseeing creative campaigns and agency partnerships. Ideal candidates have substantial experience in marketing, ideally in the automotive arena, and possess strong leadership and communication skills. Competitive compensation and a hybrid working model are offered.
Location: Slough with hybrid working / regional travel required

About the Role
This role sits at the heart of an exciting new venture between Jameel Motors and GAC, established to introduce the AION range of intelligent electric vehicles to the UK market.
As part of the launch team, you will help establish and grow AION Auto UK combining GAC’s cutting-edge EV innovation with Jameel Motors’ deep automotive expertise to deliver a new benchmark in electric mobility.
You’ll play a key role in shaping the brand’s presence from the ground up — contributing to strategy, execution, and the creation of a customer experience that reflects the innovation, intelligence, and ambition behind AION.
We’re looking for a Marketing and Communications Manager with automotive experience who will develop and implement a content and media strategy to drive awareness, consideration and customer acquisition for the AION brand. This includes management of partner agencies to deliver on and offline creative campaigns (content and media) and media buying. The Marketing and Communications Manager is also responsible for partnerships and retail marketing creating a 360-plan (above and below the line).
