£30,000 – Glasgow | Hybrid (3/2 after probation)

Nine Twenty are delighted to be supporting a fifth generation business with a proud heritage and diverse operations across shipping, logistics, industrial services, and seafoods as they look to appoint a Marketing Communications Advisor into a newly created role. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing marketing & communications function during a time of major transformation, perfect for someone who thrives on variety, creativity, and purpose‑led communication. You’ll work closely with senior leaders to shape messaging, drive employee engagement, and bring brand and community initiatives to life through strategic campaigns and standout content.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has 3+ years of experience in communications, PR, or marketing roles.
  • Is confident producing internal and external communications from start to finish.
  • Enjoys taking ownership of projects and managing multiple priorities with ease.
  • Writes clearly and creatively with great attention to tone, style, and impact.
  • Is familiar with tools like Canva, WordPress, and Microsoft 365 or eager to learn.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Creating and delivering engaging internal comms across newsletters, intranet updates, and bulletins.
  • Leading the production of a flagship internal publication shared with employees and stakeholders.
  • Supporting brand, employer brand, and ESG campaigns that drive visibility and engagement.
  • Maintaining web and social content with a focus on accuracy, accessibility, and impact.
  • Championing internal culture and community initiatives, with a focus on inclusion and sustainability.
