We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Campaigns Manager to join our Marketing team in Belfast on a 12 month fixed term basis.

Department Purpose

The business development, marketing and communications team is integral to the setting and achievement of the firm's global client strategy, which includes guiding the partners and associates in their pursuit of becoming the clients' trusted advisers, building and maintaining long-lasting, deep institutional client relationships, winning new clients, increasing the visibility of the firm globally, and positioning the firm as the thought leader and most advanced law firm among the global elite law firms. The function works as one team across the globe with very close collaboration between the central groups, such as communications, and the professionals working in local offices, practice groups, sectors and clients.

Role Purpose

The content and campaigns team has a global remit to deliver to the market A&O's best strategic thinking, knowledge and expertise through high-quality marketing campaigns. The team leads multichannel campaigns from ideation to execution, delivery and analysis in support of a range of strategic objectives. The team is also responsible for creating and implementing content and channel strategy, as well as campaign best practice and processes, across the firm.

Working closely with the head of content and campaigns, marketing and campaigns lead and wider content and campaigns team, this new position will play a central role in the successful ideation, execution, distribution and analysis of client-facing, high impact issues-led / brand awareness marketing campaigns for the firm's practice and sector groups.

The role offers fantastic growth potential, with the opportunity to develop and activate campaigns using best-in-class creative processes and campaign infrastructure.

What you will do
  • Independently manage and deliver client facing, strategic, multichannel content marketing campaigns, working with stakeholders and creative professionals across A&O's global network
  • Drive work to advance A&O's content marketing strategy, creative execution, channel development, and departmental practices
  • Consult and collaborate with multiple teams throughout the delivery and distribution of campaigns, including: business development teams, brand, creative services, social media, digital specialists, media relations, internal communications
  • Manage relationship with project stakeholders, including partners, knowledge lawyers, business development professionals and marketing leadership
  • Support junior team members, with a focus on best practice, best-in-class delivery and exemplary client service
  • Actively work to develop new processes, ideas, and ways of working, setting standards that will deliver long-term impact.
  • Drive internal engagement on marketing campaigns across business development, knowledge and fee-earning colleagues
  • Create and maintain project timelines, efficiently managing the campaign process
  • Brief creative design, social media assets, and digital deliverables
  • Write and edit marketing copy for different platforms including social media and internal communications
  • Analyse metrics and create reports on campaign performance with insight, recommending content and campaign optimization. Utilize our new CRM system to deepen client and market insights
  • Share content knowledge; staying up to date with market trends, challenges and opportunities for our firm/clients.
  • Act as a role model within our team, and in the wider department
  • Deputise for the marketing and campaigns lead when necessary
What you will have
  • Significant experience in campaign management, with expertise in delivering content campaigns through execution, distribution and analysis
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively to tight deadlines
  • Strong stakeholder management expertise, with a commitment to exemplary client service
  • Experience of developing and delivery best practice processes and governance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experienced in internal communications; driving internal engagement in client facing campaigns
  • Strong creative eye, with the ability to brief both creative and digital professionals
  • Audience focused, with an understanding of different communications channels and how best to use them to achieve success
  • Expert knowledge of campaign measurement and metrics, including Google Analytics and SEO
  • An experienced and enthusiastic collaborator, able to build relationships across a matrixed global environment
  • A creative and critical thinker with a passion for content
  • An active interest in market trends, challenges and opportunities for our firm/clients
