A leading law firm are recruiting for a Marketing & Business Development Executive to join their London office. The role will involve being responsible for managing numerous high-quality events, providing expert advice and guidance directly to our partners and lawyers, and ensuring the right contacts are targeted for each event. The ideal candidate will excel in coordinating complex events, anticipating challenges, and collaborating effectively with colleagues to achieve outstanding results.

The Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute the UK programme of events in London, collaborating with the line manager from planning to post-event analysis/ROI reporting.
  • Create targeted event marketing materials that align with the firm’s messaging and sales objectives.
  • Measure event success through reports and statistics, devising processes to track and analyse ROI.
  • Coach MBD colleagues on event management best practices, ensuring alignment with the firm’s values and objectives.
  • Support the Marketing and Business Development Manager-Events in achieving business development goals through various tasks.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, adapting to changing circumstances and working outside of office hours when necessary.

The Candidate:

  • Strong understanding of marketing and business development in a corporate or professional services setting, with experience in managing high-quality events.
  • Demonstrates commercial awareness, operates independently, and successfully manages projects with limited supervision.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills, with a professional approach to internal client care and collaboration.
  • Proficient in IT tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook) and able to handle sensitive information, multitask, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
