Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Marketing Associate for a temporary role in Leicester to support integrated marketing campaigns and content development across digital and print channels. You will work closely with the Marketing Manager to drive brand awareness and business growth while engaging customers and stakeholders.

The role covers marketing plan execution, SEO/SEM activities, and event support, with opportunities to gain exposure to multiple marketing disciplines within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related discipline.
• Previous marketing experience gained through an internship, placement year, graduate role, or similar marketing position.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple projects.
• Ability to travel occasionally for events and business activities.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of marketing plans and brand-building initiatives.
• Assist with integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, PR, and social media channels.
• Contribute to website content management, SEO and SEM activities, and digital marketing optimisation.
• Create and edit marketing and communications content including social media posts, case studies, presentations, press releases, employee communications, and marketing collateral.
• Support customer-facing events including trade shows, site visits, and key business events.
• Monitor campaign performance and prepare reports on media activity, KPIs, and marketing effectiveness.
• Conduct market, customer, and competitor research to support strategic marketing initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, agency partners, and external suppliers to deliver marketing objectives.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and priorities.
