Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience)

Based in Great Shelford, Cambridge but can travel from Cambridgeshire, Huntingdonshire, Northamptonshire areas.

We have two bold, engaging brands, mainly seeking a Marketing Assistant/Executive to join our trusted psychic reading platform, Ask The Answer.

Ask The Answer is a leading UK-based platform for psychic readings - connecting people with gifted readers through phone, email, and instant message. Our community seeks guidance, comfort, and insight from trusted spiritual professionals, and we’re here to help them find it.

Although based in the UK, we have a worldwide audience, currently targeting the UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

As our business grows, we’re looking for a creative and organised Marketing Assistant/Executive to support our Marketing and Communications Manager. You’ll help bring our brand to life across social media, email, and content, and be part of a warm, welcoming, and purpose-led business.

This isn’t your usual business or product - we’re looking for someone ready to challenge themselves, learn, grow, and make their mark in the marketing team. You’ll need curiosity, resilience, and a willingness to learn – and in return, we’ll support and guide you every step of the way!

What You’ll Do

This is a hands-on, creative role where you’ll help bring our mystical brand to life across social media, email, SMS, and community content. You’ll work closely with our Marketing & Communications Manager and be encouraged to bring your own ideas forward as you grow into the role.

Social Media

This will be your space to completely own social media channels and let your creativity shine.

• Plan and manage our content schedule across all platforms
• Draft, schedule, and publish engaging posts
• Source content from our psychic readers
• Create visuals and graphics using tools like Canva
• Write warm, insightful captions aligned with our brand tone
• Track performance across platforms - growing engagement, followers, and brand reach
• Support with community engagement: replying to DMs, comments, and building connections
• Repurpose content from blogs, articles, podcasts, or reader stories
• Help us explore new ideas like influencer marketing and partnerships!

Email Marketing

• Draft and send weekly email campaigns to keep our members inspired and in the know
• Create and format our monthly newsletter
• Monitor email performance (opens, clicks, engagement) and flag useful insights
• Support the M&CM in building automation flows and journeys over time

SMS Marketing

• Draft and send weekly SMS messages to our members
• Monitor SMS engagement and performance

Research & Insights

• Stay up to date with trends on social media and within the spiritual/psychic world
• Research astrology events, moon phases, and seasonal energies to inspire content
• Keep an eye on competitors and industry trends
• Attend online or in-person marketing events to expand your knowledge
• Help identify advertising and collaboration opportunities based on your insights

Additional Marketing Support

• Assist in hosting webinars or supporting at live events (online or in-person)
• Help publish blog content from our readers
• Support with scheduling podcasts
• Post updates on our member news feed to keep our community informed
• Maintain brand consistency across content, visuals, and tone
• Attend weekly meetings, contributing where necessary

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in marketing, comms, social media, or content creation
• A confident writer with a good eye for tone and grammar
• Organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable juggling tasks
• A keen eye for social trends and willingness to try new tools and platforms
• Willingness to occasionally work weekends or evenings if required for events
• Interest in spirituality, astrology, and wellness is a bonus, but not essential!
