Job Title: Marketing Assistant
Responsible to: Group Marketing Manager
Place of Work: Peterborough
Hours of Work: 40 hours a week, including some evening and weekend work
Salary: £25,296 per annum
Contract: Maternity Cover

Overview of the Role

Work with the Group Marketing Manager to execute high‑standard marketing and communications campaigns across all Landmark Theatres venues. Promote a diverse range of performances, workshops, classes and events, support marketing campaigns across our four venues, and collaborate with programming and the wider organisation to deliver timely and impactful marketing and communications across our platforms. Provide crucial support and administration to the wider marketing team.

The role includes a 3‑month probation period and requires a 1‑month notice period.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, produce and proof print and publicity materials in consultation with external printers and distributors.
  • Contribute to the content calendar and ensure a steady stream of engaging and shareable content on social media, tailored to different target audiences.
  • Create social media content and campaigns using both organic and paid advertising.
  • Coordinate pre‑ and post‑visit emails to ticket buyers.
  • Provide live posting at out‑of‑hours events where required.
  • Sourcing and capturing content relating to different strands of the organisation for social media output.
  • Participate in creative campaign planning sessions with the marketing team.
  • Liaise with touring company marketing teams and other relevant partners to deliver marketing plans and campaigns.
  • Attend regular team and inter‑departmental meetings.
  • Proofread and ensure accuracy of all marketing communications.
  • Handle general administration, including raising purchase orders in the Accounts IQ system, reconciling and posting invoices, and preparing invoices for weekly payment runs.
  • Deal with incoming enquiries and correspondence as required.
  • Champion and advocate for Landmark Theatre's vision and values.
  • Attend company events, previews, press nights and performances as required.
  • Participate in all training, development and wellbeing initiatives as required.
